Journey
My name is Giovanni, and my professional journey hasn't always been related to dogs. In fact, quite the opposite! For about 15 years, I worked in the high-quality multimedia production sector. However, nature, the animal world, and especially dogs, have always played a fundamental role in my personal and spiritual growth. I was born and raised in the heart of the Italian countryside, surrounded by greenery and animals of all kinds.
Doggo
It was only a matter of time before these elements took over, prompting me to change my life, especially from a professional perspective. This is how the Doggo project was born.
Inspiration
The decision to professionalize and expand my knowledge in the canine field was facilitated by the arrival of Tomato, my latest adventure companion, a mini poodle who inspired me to take my first online courses in canine education led by Jean Donaldson, a renowned American educator. From there, the step toward a professional training path was natural. After about two years, I obtained certification as a consultant in canine education and behavior from the Canischola institute in Ottenburg, Belgium, under the expert guidance of Christiane Reniers.
Motivation
My main motivation, which still drives me to study, attend workshops, and expand my knowledge, is, in addition to my immense love for dogs, the strong desire to help people achieve a deep connection with their four-legged friend. I want to help owners become friends, accomplices, and allies of their dogs, discovering together a different way of seeing the surrounding reality.
